Our story
Hobbee Foods is a small, nature-inspired company founded in 2020. Our business began with the sale of high-quality chicken feed and expanded when Sabine started her beekeeping training in 2021. The following year, 2022, we were able to sell our first home-produced honey – laying the foundation for our current range.
Today, we still offer top-quality chicken feed, honey from our own bees, as well as handmade salves, soaps, and other products crafted in small batches with pure beeswax from our farm. Our range grows carefully – always with nature at the center.
In addition to our products, we also offer the opportunity to book troubadour Kevin for events and special occasions.
Who is Sabine?
Sabine Keijzer – Nature-inspired craftsmanship, made with care
Sabine is originally from the Netherlands and has always had a deep love for animals and nature. In 2016, she travelled to Sweden to work on a horse ranch for a year — but she never truly returned to the Netherlands, except to collect her belongings and occasionally visit friends and family.
At the ranch, she met Kevin, who was there to film a music video with his band. That meeting marked the beginning of a new chapter.
Today, Sabine and Kevin live together just outside the village Ekshärad, leading a life close to nature with their two children and a menagerie of animals — chickens, cats, and of course their bee colonies.
Nature, simplicity, and animals remain at the heart of everything Sabine does.
Who is Kevin?
Kevin Nordlund – Music from the heart
Kevin grew up in Torsby and is well known from the beloved dance band Fernandoz, where he touched audiences across the country for many years with his musical versatility and warm voice.
Today, Kevin performs as a troubadour, closer, more personal, and with even greater emotion.
With a unique ability to set the mood and reach the hearts of his audience, he offers everything from well-known classics to personal country favourites, performed with warmth, presence, and genuine passion.
Perfect for parties, events, weddings, or an intimate evening where the music speaks for itself.

What makes our beekeeping unique?
Honey is the bees’ natural winter food
Honey is exactly what bees produce themselves to survive the winter.
It contains all the nutrients they need: carbohydrates, enzymes, pollen, trace minerals, and antibacterial compounds that help keep the hive healthy.
When honey is replaced with sugar syrup, bees receive energy, but not the essential micronutrients.
More natural beekeeping = better welfare for the bees
Allowing bees to keep their own honey is a choice based on respect for their natural behaviour.
